The Montenegro Capital Market Authority reported that its representative, Sara Pejovic, took part in the IOSCO–IFRS Foundation Capacity Building Program on Sustainable Finance held in Budapest on 28–29 January 2025. The two-day programme covered corporate issuer sustainability disclosure requirements, implementation of IFRS sustainability standards, the role of ethical frameworks in sustainable finance, and international standards for sustainability assurance. Sessions included panel discussions and group activities with a focus on practical implementation and alignment with global sustainability frameworks, including IASB and ISSA standards, with Pejovic contributing to discussions on disclosure standards and transparency.
