Algeria Market Authority publishes implementing rules for venture capital collective investment undertakings covering approvals valuers auditors and qualified investors

The Algeria Market Authority has published four implementing instructions for its October 23, 2024 regulation on venture capital collective investment undertakings, or OPCR. The package sets the operational framework for the OPCR regime by defining what must be included in an authorization application and by establishing registration rules for key third parties, alongside provisions on qualified investors. The instructions set out the components of the file to be submitted with an OPCR approval request, the conditions and procedures for registering external valuers for collective investment undertakings, the conditions and procedures for registering statutory auditors for OPCR, and the framework relating to qualified investors.
