South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service reported that foreign investors sold a net KRW 49.336 trillion of listed stocks and purchased a net KRW 4.478 trillion of listed bonds in June 2026. This marked the sixth consecutive month of net stock selling and the third consecutive month of net bond buying. Combined net outflows were KRW 44.858 trillion. Net stock sales were led by investors from the U.K. at KRW 32.2 trillion and the U.S. at KRW 23.182 trillion, while the Cayman Islands, France and Hong Kong recorded the largest net purchases. Bond inflows were concentrated in Korean Treasury bonds and securities with remaining maturities of more than one year. Foreign investors held KRW 2,908.6 trillion of listed stocks, equal to 36.4% of market capitalization, and KRW 334.8 trillion of listed bonds, representing 11.8% of the market.
