Estonia’s Financial Supervision Authority (Finantsinspektsioon) issued a precept to Herrmann, Huebner & Partner Insurance Broker OÜ for failing to publish its 2024 annual financial report on time. Under the Insurance Activities Act, an insurance broker must publish its annual financial report within two weeks of approval by the general meeting and no later than 1 May of the year following the reporting year. The broker’s financial year runs from 1 January to 31 December, and the 2024 report had still not been published when the precept was issued. The decision may be appealed to the Tallinn Administrative Court within 30 days of notification.
