The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) conducted an official visit to the Croatian National Bank (CNB), covering Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European integration process, strengthening the CBBH’s institutional capacities, and progress in preparations to join the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). As part of the visit, the CBBH also signed a contract with the Croatian Mint for production of convertible mark coins in 2 and 5 KM denominations. The CBBH delegation, led by Governor Jasmina Selimović with Vice Governors Emir Kurtić and Marko Vidaković, met CNB Governor Boris Vujčić and discussed cooperation on payment systems supervision, digitalisation of financial services, and the role of central banks in supporting financial sector resilience. At the Croatian Mint, the parties reviewed existing cooperation on KM coin minting, were presented with production and quality control processes, and discussed plans for further cooperation.
