The Central Bank of Libya said Gov. Naji Issa met the Finance Committee of the Libyan House of Representatives to review the state’s public expenditure and revenue performance through June 2026, the progress of the economic and financial reform program, and the bank’s measures to preserve monetary and financial stability, support fiscal sustainability and protect the country’s financial resources, while also confirming that a recent cybersecurity incident was contained, no customer bank accounts or balances were affected, and all banking systems and services have been fully restored and are operating normally.
