Naji Issa met the Finance Committee of the Libyan House of Representatives to review the state’s public expenditure and revenue performance through June 2026, the progress of the economic and financial reform program, and the bank’s measures to preserve monetary and financial stability, support fiscal sustainability and protect the country’s financial resources, while also confirming that a recent cybersecurity incident was contained, no customer bank accounts or balances were affected, and all banking systems and services have been fully restored and are operating normally.

The Central Bank of Libya said its governor briefed the Libyan House of Representatives Finance Committee on public expenditure and revenue through June 2026 and on progress in the economic and financial reform program. He also said a recent cybersecurity incident was contained, no customer accounts or balances were compromised, and all banking systems and services have been restored.
