The Central Bank of Montenegro held a workshop with the World Bank on using digital communication to improve financial literacy, targeting institutions involved in Montenegro’s 2023–2027 financial education programme and banks active in the local market. The day-long programme focused on building capacity to design and deliver educational activities through digital channels, covering global trends in digital communication, content creation for social media, audience targeting, and methods to monitor and measure campaign impact. It also included practical exercises to create short educational video messages. The workshop featured contributions from the World Bank and Banca d’Italia on financial literacy initiatives delivered through digital channels. The event formed part of the Payment Systems Modernisation Project and the Remittances and Payments Program implemented by the World Bank with the Central Bank of Montenegro under the auspices of the Swiss Secretariat of Economic Affairs.
