The Montenegro Capital Market Authority reported that its chair, Željko Drinčić, participated in the international conference “Pathways to Paris 2026 – Climate Finance Leadership in a Fragmented World” held at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London on 26 March 2026, focused on the role of the financial sector in responding to rising climate risks amid geopolitical uncertainty and increasing regulatory fragmentation. The agenda covered financial system resilience, financing the green transition, development of green capital markets, and the use of digital technologies and innovation in decarbonisation. Discussions also addressed climate risk management, the development of sustainable financial instruments, transition planning towards a low-carbon economy, and the role of financial institutions in shaping sustainable investment strategies.
