The Central Bank of Paraguay, through its Superintendency of Insurance, has launched the National Insurance Education Network, or RENAES, to strengthen insurance awareness and improve coordination among institutions involved in promoting prevention and protection. The initiative is designed to deepen public understanding of the insurance market and help build a more informed population that is better prepared for risks and contingencies. Planned actions include training sessions and educational materials covering the types of insurance available in the market as well as policyholders' rights and obligations. These activities will target technical teams at participating institutions, their members and the general public. The Superintendency of Insurance will design and provide the training content and coordinate implementation. In its first stage, the network includes 10 cooperatives selected by the supervisor for their community and educational engagement. The network is expected to expand progressively in later phases beyond the initial group of participating cooperatives.
