The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) announced that the Philippines, through the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, will host the ASEAN Senior-Level Committee (SLC) on Financial Integration and related meetings in Boracay, Aklan from 5 to 6 March 2026, bringing together senior officials from ASEAN central banks to advance regional financial cooperation and deepen financial integration. The agenda includes meetings of the SLC Task Force for Sustainable Finance and the Steering Committee for Capacity Building on 5 March to discuss sustainable finance initiatives and regional capacity-building programs. On 6 March, the 31st SLC on Financial Integration, co-chaired by Bank Indonesia and the State Bank of Vietnam, will cover ASEAN Chair priorities for 2026, global and regional economic and financial developments and outlook, and progress in ASEAN working committees’ initiatives to deepen financial integration. Outcomes from the meetings will be elevated to the ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting in April 2026.
