The Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a public warning that Bosscar d.o.o. Bosanska Krupa is offering financing through leasing in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina without first obtaining the agency’s approval, contrary to applicable rules. Bosscar d.o.o. does not hold the agency’s licence to conduct leasing business in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina under Articles 3 and 6 of the Leasing Law, and the agency said it has not received an application from the company for such authorisation. The agency has initiated legally prescribed actions within its remit and urged existing and potential customers to exercise particular caution, noting it does not supervise the company’s operations and cannot ensure protection of users’ rights and interests under leasing contracts with the firm.
