The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market (NSSMC) outlined progress in rolling out electronic financial reporting in XBRL format under the EU FAAR project, implemented with support from the EU Delegation to Ukraine and in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Ukraine. The update points to the development in 2020–2024 of the Ukrainian Taxonomy UA IFRS XBRL to enable companies to file financial statements to international standards in a single digital format. It also lists key operational building blocks, including the launch of the Financial Reporting Collection Center as a state hub for receiving and storing reports, availability of the free iXBRL Report software for enterprises to generate filings, and specialist training for NSSMC staff. The NSSMC also highlighted the publication of Ukrainian companies’ financial statements on the XBRL International platform. The NSSMC, the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Ukraine will continue work on further development of e-reporting, and the Commission plans a complete transition from 2026 to reporting only in XBRL format submitted through the Collection Center.
