The Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier will launch its annual AML/CFT questionnaire for the year 2025 on 23 February 2026, with final submission due via the CSSF eDesk platform by 3 April 2026. The exercise is intended to gather standardised information on money laundering and terrorism financing risks faced by supervised professionals and the measures used to mitigate those risks, supporting the CSSF’s risk-based AML/CFT supervision. The 2025 questionnaire includes changes compared with the previous year, with new and amended questions indicated in the form. Submission through the Application Programming Interface remains available, and completion can be delegated within eDesk, although ultimate responsibility remains with the entity’s “RC” or “RR”; both the responsible person and any delegate need an eDesk account using LuxTrust authentication. The CSSF also plans to launch an additional ad hoc questionnaire in the first half of 2026, in parallel to the Questionnaire on Financial Crime, addressed to credit and financial institutions. It will collect data, potentially including information on free provision of services, to help prepare the selection of entities for direct supervision by the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority from 1 January 2028; the data will be shared with AMLA and used for preliminary selection, with AMLA expected to select 40 obliged entities during 2027.
