The Bank of England has revised the publication schedule for the Decision Maker Panel (DMP) and the Agents’ summary of business conditions (ASBC) so they no longer coincide with release of the Monetary Policy Report (MPR). In MPR months, DMP data will be published on the Friday in the week before the MPR, while in other months the DMP release shifts from Thursday to Friday. The ASBC will be published on the Friday in the week before the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) announcement in both MPR and non-MPR months. For the remainder of 2026, the Bank set out specific dates under the new timetable, including DMP and ASBC on 24 April (with the April MPC Summary and minutes and April MPR on 30 April), DMP on 5 June and ASBC on 12 June (June MPC Summary and minutes on 18 June), DMP on 3 July and 24 July with ASBC also on 24 July (July MPC Summary and minutes and July MPR on 30 July), DMP on 4 September and ASBC on 11 September (September MPC Summary and minutes on 17 September), DMP on 2 October and 30 October with ASBC also on 30 October (November MPC Summary and minutes and November MPR on 5 November), and DMP on 4 December with ASBC on 11 December (December MPC Summary and minutes on 17 December). The DMP is a monthly survey of Chief Financial Officers at UK businesses, while the ASBC summarises intelligence from the Bank’s Agents considered by the MPC and collated ahead of each MPC meeting.
