The Vietnam State Securities Commission published a warning from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) about fraudsters unlawfully using the exchange’s name, images and logo to solicit investors. The schemes include fabricated investment licensing documents bearing counterfeit seals and signatures attributed to commission leaders. HOSE confirmed that it neither issued nor has any connection to the documents and does not license, certify or guarantee investments through such methods. Investors should not disclose personal or account information or one-time passwords, transfer money to unverified parties, and should report suspected fraud to the police or other competent authorities. HOSE will work with the authorities to identify, prevent and pursue organizations and individuals involved.
