The Bank of Italy will take part in Italy’s Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles Day on 16 February (6 pm to 10 pm) and in Earth Hour on 28 March (8.30 pm to 9.30 pm), alongside other Eurosystem central banks, by symbolically switching off all external lighting, in line with its Transition Plan for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and strengthening resilience to climate-related risks.

The Bank of Italy will participate in Italy’s Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles Day and Earth Hour by switching off all external lighting, aligning with its Transition Plan for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. This initiative aims to reduce the bank's carbon footprint and enhance resilience to climate-related risks.
