The Central Bank of Chile has announced it will make new public time series on exports by region available from 23 April, expanding the regional breakdown of National Accounts statistics. The new regional export series will follow Chile’s current political-administrative division of sixteen regions and will be incorporated into the regular Regional GDP (PIBR) releases issued on the 23rd, or next business day, of April, June, September and December. Quarterly chained series will cover goods exports, while annual series will be published both as chained series and at current prices, distinguishing exports of goods and services, goods exports by sector (agriculture-forestry-fishing, mining, industry), and services exports.

The Central Bank of Chile will publish new public time series on exports by region from 23 April, expanding the regional breakdown of National Accounts statistics.
