The Saudi Arabia Insurance Authority announced that the ingate Global Insurance Conference and Exhibition will be held in Riyadh from Nov. 10 to 12 under the patronage of the minister of finance. Described as the first specialized insurance event of its kind in Saudi Arabia and the region, it will focus on industry prospects, market gaps and cooperation among government, private-sector and international participants. The program will include more than 40 panel discussions, workshops and sessions, with 100 speakers and over 150 local and international organizations. The authority expects more than 7,000 visitors to the 15,000-square-meter exhibition and has launched the ingate online registration platform. The event will also address insurance penetration, which stood at 2.59% of non-oil gross domestic product in 2024, and the expansion of protection and savings insurance, which represents about 10% of the Saudi market.
