The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) issued Ordinance 214/2026 to bring its INTEGRAR Integrity Programme into line with the guidance in Decree 11,529/2023, creating a new Integrity, Transparency and Access to Information Management Committee (CGITAI) to coordinate the agency’s integrity, transparency, information-access and data protection agenda. CGITAI is chaired by the head of the Cabinet of PREVIC’s Collegiate Board and includes the heads of the Ombudsman’s Office, Ethics Commission, Internal Affairs Unit, Internal Audit and the General Coordination of People Management; members will serve without remuneration. Its remit covers defining and monitoring the actions that will form PREVIC’s Integrity Plan, with each function responsible for treating the risks in its own area to avoid overlapping activities, and drafting the Integrity Plan for the 2026-2027 biennium. INTEGRAR, first launched in 2018 and updated in 2023, is intended to prevent, detect, correct and remedy ethical misconduct, administrative offences, fraud and corruption, and the new governance arrangements explicitly encompass tackling harassment and discrimination in the public administration.
