The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency announced that Koprivnički Ivanec Primary School won its “Be the Hero of Your Story – Don’t Fall for Fraud!” competition, which invited primary school students to submit a short fairy tale or story on financial fraud. The winning team was presented with an award and an interactive display at a ceremony held at Hanfa. The competition was aimed at raising awareness of financial fraud risks and helping students recognise suspicious offers, especially increasingly sophisticated online scams. Hanfa received 28 entries from schools across Croatia. The jury assessed creativity and innovation, with particular emphasis on how well the entries addressed financial fraud and the protection of personal financial assets. Trilj Primary School received second place and Budaševo – Topolovac – Gušće Primary School received third place. Hanfa said the award ceremony forms part of its broader programme of projects and workshops to strengthen financial literacy and promote safe behaviour in digital and financial environments.
