The International Monetary Fund announced that the United Kingdom has successfully completed the transition plans required under the Special Data Dissemination Standard Plus (SDDS Plus) and is now publishing three additional SDDS Plus data categories, with data and metadata available on the IMF’s Dissemination Standards Bulletin Board. The newly published SDDS Plus categories are Sectoral Balance Sheets, the Other Financial Corporations Survey, and Debt Securities. The IMF noted that SDDS Plus is the highest tier of its Data Standards Initiatives, which also include the Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) and the Enhanced General Data Dissemination System (e-GDDS).
