The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has adopted amendments to three sets of securities market regulations to reflect changes to European Union rules. The measures finalize its alignment of Sweden’s securities business framework with amendments to the MiFID II delegated directive arising from the EU Listing Act. The authority amended its securities business regulations and made consequential changes to the rules for investment funds and alternative investment fund managers. All amendments take effect Oct. 1, 2026.

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has adopted amendments to three sets of securities market regulations to align them with MiFID II changes arising from the EU Listing Act. The changes cover securities businesses, investment funds and alternative investment fund managers and take effect Oct. 1, 2026.
