The Bank of France reported that Governor François Villeroy de Galhau presented the accompanied microcredit awards to the two national winners of the seventh edition, recognising one personal microcredit project and one professional microcredit project. In the personal microcredit category, Élodie Miesch, supported by Contact Plus and Parcours Confiance, was awarded for a EUR 2,000 microloan from Caisse d’Épargne Grand Est to finance the purchase of a vehicle. In the professional microcredit category, Farshad Ahmadi, supported by ADIE, received the prize for a EUR 3,800 microloan granted by ADIE to fund the fitting out of a kitchen on his mobile catering cargo bike. The Bank of France framed accompanied social microcredit, whether professional or personal, as a tool to support people in difficulty who have a project.
