The Bank of Italy published a report summarising the main findings of its Regional Bank Lending Survey for the first half of 2025, focusing on how credit conditions evolved across Italy’s macro-regions. The survey, conducted by the Bank of Italy’s regional branches on a sample of 235 banks, examines loan demand from households and firms alongside banks’ credit supply policies, with results broken down by geographical area and economic sector. An Italian-language report (No. 43) and an accompanying dataset are provided as annexes.
