The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a training seminar for media representatives to explain its core functions and current work across the foreign exchange market, monetary policy, protection of consumers from fraudulent activity, digitalisation of financial services, and measures to maintain banking system stability. The event was presented as an open dialogue with journalists to improve understanding of the central bank’s role and decisions. Deputy Chairman Azat Kozubekov described engagement with the media as a priority for the regulator. Heads of the central bank’s departments briefed journalists from major television, radio, print, news agency and online outlets and answered questions directly on current issues in their respective areas.
