The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has appointed Kristian Koktvedgaard acting chair of its Sustainability Reporting Board with immediate effect, following a recommendation from its Administrative Board. The interim appointment is intended to maintain continuity, including the timely delivery of technical advice to the European Commission on draft European Sustainability Reporting Standard 40a. Koktvedgaard has served on the Sustainability Reporting Board since its establishment and has experience in international standard setting. He will remain acting chair until the General Assembly appoints a permanent successor following nomination by the European Commission in consultation with the European Parliament and the Council.
