The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Dubai Financial Services Authority and Nasdaq Dubai have established a Strategic Working Group to deepen cooperation between the financial markets of Hong Kong and the Dubai International Financial Centre. The group provides a formal framework for regulators and exchanges to align priorities and develop initiatives supporting capital flows, trade and investment between Asia and the Middle East. The participants will explore collaboration in sustainable finance, Islamic finance, innovation, broader capital markets development and market connectivity. They will also exchange insights on market developments and assess emerging opportunities and challenges. The initiative builds on ongoing regulatory and market dialogue and was announced at the third Hong Kong Monetary Authority-Dubai Financial Services Authority Joint Climate Finance Conference.
