The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) has opened a public consultation on its proposed 2026-27 budget plan, inviting stakeholders to provide feedback. The budget plan, together with FSRA’s Statement of Priorities and Strategic Framework, forms the core of FSRA’s Annual Business Plan, which will be submitted to the Minister of Finance for approval. While the consultation on the Statement of Priorities and Strategic Framework ran from December 10, 2025 to January 13, 2026, FSRA will accept additional feedback on it as part of the budget consultation. The consultation on the proposed 2026-27 budget plan runs from January 29 to February 9, 2026, closing at 11:59 p.m. EST.
