The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye published the results of its student competition themed “Our Assurance Against Social Media Scams Is Our Financial Literacy”, organised with the approval of the Ministry of National Education to raise financial literacy awareness and promote saving and investment habits among middle and high school students. Works collected nationwide via provincial directorates were shortlisted for evaluation, with 70 paintings and 44 essays assessed. A judging panel comprising representatives from the Ministry of National Education, the Board, Borsa İstanbul and the Turkish Capital Markets Association selected the ranked entries at the Board’s Ankara headquarters, awarding first place to Ş*** A*** (Atatürk Middle School, Çarşamba/Samsun) in the painting category and T*** T*** (Bolu Social Sciences High School, Bolu) in the essay category. Details of the award ceremony planned for May will be communicated separately.
