The Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa has issued an expression of interest to hire an administrative assistant for its Information Center in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The role is structured as an individual consultant engagement and is intended to support the center’s day to day administrative, logistical and document management, including coordination with GIABA headquarters and institutional partners. The assignment is full time, carries remuneration of USD 12,000 per year, and is set for one year with possible renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. The position covers core back office functions such as correspondence, recordkeeping and archiving, meeting and event logistics, agenda and minute management, administrative follow-up of local suppliers, and maintenance of administrative databases. Applicants must have at least a university degree equivalent to BAC+3 in secretarial work, administration, management or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant administrative and logistics experience. GIABA will score candidates on qualifications and general experience, mission-specific experience and proficiency in ECOWAS official languages, with a minimum score of 70 out of 100 required and the top three candidates to be shortlisted for interview.
