The Astana Financial Services Authority announced that Saida Djarbolova has joined its Board of Directors as an independent nonexecutive director. Approved by an Astana International Financial Centre Governor’s Order, the appointment took effect on Sept. 5, 2026. Djarbolova also joined the board’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Audit and Risk Committee. Djarbolova has more than three decades of experience in banking, corporate finance, risk management and strategic transformation across Europe and Central Asia. She previously held senior roles at ING Group, including chief executive officer of ING Bank Ukraine, country head of ING Kazakhstan and head of transformation for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, overseeing strategic and compliance operations across 26 countries.
