The Bank of Italy published eight new issues in its Questioni di economia e finanza research series (Nos. 910–917), spanning household finance, the green transition, public-sector digitalisation, and governance and justice system outcomes. The papers examine Italian household portfolio composition in 2010–23 using financial accounts and the Survey on Household Income and Wealth; evidence and practitioner assessments on the Italian automotive sector in the green transition; energy poverty in the European Union; machine learning approaches to analyse portfolio reallocations by equity mutual funds; the effects of the judicial geography reform on the functioning of civil justice; the impact of public subsidies on the birth of innovative firms; results from the IDAL survey on the digitalisation of local administrations; and the use of ESG targets in chief executive officer remuneration across major EU economies.
