Morocco's Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) used the opening of the 12th Rendez-vous de Casablanca de l'assurance to highlight how the insurance sector is being reshaped by emerging risks, changing practices and more diverse coverage needs, and urged a shift beyond traditional risk transfer toward greater service, prevention and policyholder support. ACAPS President Abderrahim Chaffai set out supervisory priorities focused on strengthening the regulatory framework, expanding access to insurance, broadening coverage and adapting business models to new market realities, and called for coordinated action across stakeholders to support innovation, resilience and market development. The Moroccan Insurance Federation is hosting the conference on 15–16 April 2026 under the theme "New Services and Coverage: Insurance Conquering New Territories."
