The Central Bank of Seychelles has launched a Financial Indicators Expectations Survey for firms to collect private-sector expectations on selected financial indicators over horizons ranging from the next three months to five years. The survey covers expectations for price levels, interest rates, exchange rates, changes in economic activity, wages, firms’ ability to employ workers, and access to credit facilities. The information gathered is intended to complement similar surveys conducted with the banking sector and households and to support policy decision-making by providing a broader view of economic expectations across groups. Participation is open until 4 April 2025, with the exercise scheduled to be conducted in the second quarter of 2025. Results are due to be published on the Central Bank’s website on 25 April 2025 after responses have been aggregated to preserve confidentiality.
