The Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has determined and published the list of systemically important banks in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the capital buffer rates applicable to those banks, based on bank-level data as at 31 December 2024. The list was prepared under a methodology aligned with the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska and the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and reflects requirements in the Law on Banks and the Agency’s secondary legislation. In line with the Decision on the method for determining a systemically important bank and the associated capital buffer, the Agency will issue a separate ruling for each designated systemically important bank; the list and buffer rates are published under the Agency’s “Publications” section.
