The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) participated in a joint capacity-building conference in Doha focused on Qatar’s implementation of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Disclosure Standards S1 and S2. The event was jointly organised by the QFMA, the Qatar Stock Exchange and the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. Sessions covered Qatar’s national approach to corporate sustainability reporting and regulatory expectations for financial and non-financial companies, and included discussion of initial steps to meet the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standard IFRS S2.
