The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted a training session for media representatives on the Central Bank’s role in protecting financial services consumers’ rights, focusing on how consumer protection work is organised and how citizens’ applications are handled. The session covered the legal and institutional framework for consumer rights protection, mechanisms for reviewing written and oral applications, and approaches to improving information accessibility. Media participants were also taken through practical examples and the process for managing citizens’ appeals, with time allocated for questions and answers. The event was held as part of Azerbaijan’s annual Human Rights Month (18 May–18 June).
