The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission published the results of the OIC InsurTech Award 2025 and presented awards to winning insurance technology innovations, following a competition that attracted more than 400 applicant teams and offered total prizes of over THB 500,000. The award was run in two categories, with students competing under the theme “Innovation for Insurance Literacy” and the general public under “Innovation for Accessible Insurance”. In the student category, Rush to Rich won first prize for “InsurLot”, a gamified motor insurance literacy platform with rewards (THB 100,000), followed by InsureMate’s “AI Insurance Companion” (THB 70,000) and LogIns’ “To-Die List” personal life-planning tool (THB 50,000), with two consolation prizes of THB 15,000 each. In the general public category, Sxphia won for an “Auto Insurance Telematics Platform” using an in-car sensor to trigger assistance alerts to rescue units and relatives in an accident (THB 100,000), followed by ERGO HIPPO’s proactive health-linked group insurance model (THB 70,000) and KIT-WISe-2-X’s real-time electrical wave detection technology for fire prevention (THB 50,000), with two consolation prizes of THB 15,000 each. The Office of Insurance Commission positioned the award as a mechanism to connect insurance knowledge with technology innovation and indicated it will continue coordinating cross-sector support to develop insurtech and promote practical adoption.
