The Central Bank of Russia will issue on 16 June 2026 a souvenir-packaged numismatic set containing eight coin denominations from 1 kopeck to 10 rubles. The set will be struck in brilliant uncirculated quality with a mintage of 35,000 pieces, and the coins will remain legal tender in the Russian Federation, mandatory for acceptance at face value without restriction. The set includes 1- and 5-kopeck cupronickel plated steel coins, 10- and 50-kopeck brass plated steel coins, 1-, 2- and 5-ruble nickel plated steel coins, and a 10-ruble brass plated steel coin. The kopeck coins carry Saint George slaying a dragon on the obverse, while the ruble coins show the national coat of arms. The 10-ruble coin also includes a security feature inside the zero that reveals the figure 10 and the inscription RUB at different viewing angles.
