The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of Global Pacific Solutions Group Pty Ltd because the firm is no longer carrying on a financial services business. The cancellation took effect on 20 May 2026. ASIC acted under section 915B(3)(a) of the Corporations Act, which allows it to cancel an Australian financial services licence held by a body corporate that has ceased to carry on a financial services business. Global Pacific Solutions Group had held AFS licence 514164 since 24 February 2019 and may apply to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for a review of the decision.
