The State Bank of Pakistan reported that its National Institute of Banking and Finance-Pakistan has completed an interprovincial curriculum workshop that consolidated about 180 unified financial literacy student learning outcomes. The outcomes will progress toward notification and integration into national and provincial curricula by the respective curriculum authorities. The workshop brought together curriculum and subject experts from Pakistan’s provinces, regions and the National Curriculum Council Wing. It forms part of the Financial Literacy Integration Project, which has worked over the past two years to embed practical financial knowledge and competencies into the education system from the early years of schooling, replacing standalone interventions with a coordinated curriculum-based approach.
