The Central Bank of the Philippines issued a circular letter to all BSP-supervised financial institutions noting the conversion of Dungganon Bank (A Microfinance Rural Bank), Inc. into a regular rural bank and its change of corporate name to Dungganon Bank (A Rural Bank), Inc. The update follows the Securities and Exchange Commission’s approval on 4 December 2024 of the bank’s Amended Articles of Incorporation and Amended By-Laws reflecting the new corporate name.

Central Bank of the Philippines notes Dungganon Bank’s conversion to a regular rural bank and corporate name change
The Central Bank of the Philippines announced the conversion of Dungganon Bank (A Microfinance Rural Bank), Inc. into a regular rural bank, now named Dungganon Bank (A Rural Bank), Inc. This follows the Securities and Exchange Commission's approval of the bank's Amended Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws on 4 December 2024.
