The Bank of Italy announced the third edition of its biennial microsimulation workshop, “Advancing microsimulation modelling: methods, applications, and innovations”, to be held in Rome on 4 July 2025. The event will bring together academics and experts from national and international institutions to discuss new methodologies and applications of microsimulation models. The programme will focus on the distributional and labour-supply effects of tax-benefit reforms affecting households’ disposable income, and on the development and applications of microsimulation models for firms. The keynote speech will be delivered by Professor Camille Landais of the London School of Economics, and contributions must be submitted by 18 April 2025 in line with the call for papers.
