The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) has updated its Datacube, bringing the interactive public database of complaints about financial firms up to date through 31 August 2025, and announced that the dataset will move to monthly updates from October 2025 instead of the previous six‑monthly refresh. The Datacube covers all firms that received four or more complaints in the past 12 months and contains data dating back to AFCA’s inception on 1 November 2018. Users can search by firm name or filter by firm type, product, service or postcode, with the more frequent update cycle intended to provide more timely insights for consumers, small businesses and financial firms, including benchmarking by member firms.
