The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has further extended the deadline for investors to file claims with the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in relation to Karvy Stock Broking Limited, which was declared a defaulter by NSE on 23 November 2020. Under NSE’s bye-laws, rules and regulations, the original deadline for submitting investor claims against the default broker was set for 2 June 2025 and was later extended to 31 December 2025 following SEBI’s 16 May 2025 press release urging investors to lodge their claims. SEBI has now extended the filing deadline again to 31 March 2026 and urged investors who have not yet lodged claims to do so before the revised cut-off.
