The Financial Superintendence of Colombia published a recap of its participation in Global Money Week 2026, reporting outreach to 3,586 people through a schedule of activities focused on financial education and informed money-management decisions. The programme covered nine departments and 11 municipalities, including sessions in Valle del Cauca, La Guajira, Córdoba, Chocó, Santander, Cundinamarca, Bogotá D.C., Bolívar and Atlántico, with visits to locations such as Cali, Riohacha, Montería, Quibdó, Bucaramanga, Chía, Dagua and Barranquilla. Activities targeted students, rural communities, entrepreneurs and the general public, emphasising responsible financial habits, fraud prevention, and safe use of financial products and services, with content adapted to local circumstances.
