The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has published its annual Sustainable Finance Report, setting out measures implemented in 2024 under the Sustainable Finance Roadmap. Based on leading international practices, the report is intended to increase transparency in the financial sector by publicly disclosing actions focused on managing climate change-related risks. It is structured in three main sections covering Azerbaijan’s sustainable socio-economic development agenda, global climate risks, the central bank’s initiatives in this area, and planned steps for 2025.
