The Central Bank of Cuba announced that commercial banks will begin this month the payment of Social Security retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security, starting on 19 May. Bank branches and CADECA exchange houses across the country will provide priority service to this group during the first three hours of the day. Beneficiaries who receive funds on a magnetic card can check the credited balance without visiting a branch through Transfermóvil or Enzona if they have a mobile phone, at automated teller machines, or through other channels offered by each commercial bank. The card can also be used as a personal account for savings, deposits and withdrawals, transfers, and digital payments.

The Central Bank of Cuba announced that commercial banks will begin paying Social Security retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security from 19 May, with bank branches and CADECA exchange houses giving them priority service during the first three hours. Beneficiaries using magnetic cards can verify balances and conduct savings, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and digital payments via Transfermóvil, Enzona, ATMs, or other channels offered by commercial banks.
