The Algeria Market Authority participated in the Professional Accountancy Organisation Dialogue organized by the Pan African Federation of Accountants in Algiers on 25 June 2026. The continental meeting brought together representatives from several African countries to discuss how to promote sustainable economic development and the role of the accounting profession in advancing the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area. The event also served as a forum to exchange expertise on recent developments in the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards and sustainability standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board. In that context, those standards were presented as tools to strengthen transparency, improve the quality of financial information and support investor confidence.
