The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services announced its planned May 2026 activity, including a full committee markup and three subcommittee hearings spanning anti-money laundering reform, bank-fintech collaboration, and equity market structure. The committee will hold a markup of various measures on May 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET in 2128 Rayburn House Office Building. The National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions Subcommittee will convene a hearing titled “Modernizing the BSA for Financial Crime in the 21st Century” on May 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET. Two hearings are scheduled for May 20, 2026 in the same location: the Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee’s “Partnering for Innovation: How Bank-Fintech Collaborations Enhance Financial Infrastructure” at 10:00 AM ET, and the Capital Markets Subcommittee’s “From Order to Execution: Ensuring Efficient and Transparent Equity Markets” at 2:00 PM ET.
